4-5-1 V style does not beat 4-4-2 classic any more ??????

In my last 5-6 match in last season , against 4-4-2 classic i see that 4-5-1 v style does not affect to beat 4-4-2. Did anyone have the same problem ?
Or there is other option to beat 4-4-2 classic ?

For my experience, ND only works If your opponent does not have good wingers, and do not atack both flanks, otherwise, you will get more possession, but he will have more chances.

Lately 43W3 has Been a good counter to 442, i have seen that the midfield with 3 open Man, works real well against 4 midfielders.

Almost everyone who plays 4-4-2 classic are playing both flanks , so ND is more dangerous
4-5-1 V it better in action than ND against 4-4-2 classic
