    for me i like playing 3n-1-4-2 with attacking, down both flanks, mixed, zonal, whole pitch if at home/own half if away, hard tackling, no counter, yes offside trap. arrows on ML/MR and STs

    Also remember this game tends to play cycles as well (eg injuries, cards, goals.) The main thing is to ride out the bad patch when it does come and by you not losing is good, but not winning is not so great.

    I usually do the same, start off pretty neutral and adjust with arrows/orders according to how the match starts and progresses. When I need more shots on target I put arrows on my strikers for instance.
