Above^ and 3N-2W-2N-2W-1 totally dominates it in my experience, never ever! been beaten by 4-4-2, I do normally have the better quality though.

Accyrover is correct. If your opponent uses red arrows on ML/MR then 4-3-2-1 and 4-5-1 V are not as effective. Best to use butterfly, protect your own flanks while attacking your opponent's flanks

The big difference in the fact that both formations have four flank players is that with 3-2-2-2-1 your flank players are more advanced so in attack they have less ground to cover receiving the ball in positions where more damage can be caused and IMO it is just as balanced through the MF as 4-4-2.
b Also because your flank players are directly in front of there's it tends to force longer balls to be played upto the strikers causing higher loss of possession.
For me four lines of players will in most cases out play three generic lines.

    3-3 final score
i started with 4-5-1 and i get 3 goals in the first 30 minutes ...
in second half i changed it 4-1-3-2 and i got the draw home away match... good result for the next round in my stadium :P

I must to beat this formation:

    ------gk------
    - dc---dc-
    -dmr----dml-
    mc-mc-mc
    -st- -st- -st-

His quality is 30.4 and my is 23.2. I think that i can play 4-4-2 but i don`t know how order is good and how arrow .I play in six hours.Thx.

I have only lost once vs 4-4-2 classic. I ALWAYS use 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond and only lost once....game engine brainfart.
