    Aloha, guys!

Tomorrow The Arsenal meets a stronger team in the Cup playoffs - 26.4 vs. 27.6.
Any good thoughts about counter formation? His formation is 4-2N-2N-1-1

I am thinking about 3N-5V-2 with passing by flanks.
    Any ideas will be appreciated.
Thanks and good luck in the playoffs!

P.S. The actual avg. quality of the starting players is 29.6 vs. 29.4.

Arsenal FC: Season 4, Level 4, Quality 30+
    Level 1: 5th
Level 2: League: The Untouchables, Cup: 1/4s
    Level 3: League: 2nd, Cup: 3rd, CL:

N is for Narrow - three central players next to each other, eg. MC-MC-MC or DC-DC-DC
W is for Wide - left, center and right, eg. ML-MC-MR or DL-DC-DR.

I killed this formation today using 3N-6-1 V, So I would imagine the 3N-5-2 V can work too.

I branded this formation as the "Burj Khalifa"

    Hi,

My first time post, I'm level 6 on the phone game (not sure if this makes a difference and is the same version you all play). I've got someone in my league who beat me twice last season and who I'm yet to play again but I was after some advice before we meet again this season.

He plays 4-3N-1-2 and I always counter with 4-5-1 V-Style. My settings are defensive, force counter and attack down the wings. He beats me both times with relative ease. Our teams are more or less the same quality, I would even say mine has the edge 43.8 v 41.8. The orignal post shows my formation is good to counter his setup, are there any more tips to make the contest a little more even?

Anyone got any thoughts on this? I was thinking I might go like for like but instead of his AMC I'll put my DMC. I've got the better team so hopefully they will pull through.

3N-1(DMC)-3N-2W(AML/AMR)-1 ...... use def/normal mentality (suggest defensive in first half), down both flanks ,own half pressing , long ball , counter attack on , offside off , hard tackling, zonal marking.........IN MY OPINION......

    Hi thank you for this.

I havent played my league opponent yet, but champions league 1/4 final 44.8* v 48.2* I was major underdogs with most of his players on 6 stars and every single one of them with a special skill. The formation worked wonders, I was 2-0 and dominating the game twice as many chances.

He had to change to a weird formation i'd not seen before, and he got it back to 2-1. Happy with a 2-1 away victory though in the first leg.

He changed his formation I think to 4-2(MC)-2(AMC)-2

Lost 2-0 playing 4-3N-2AML/R-1 as per first post knowing I've lost to him with 4-5-1V before
