If I was you, I would use the 4-3W-3, you get a lot of goals, and it also defends very well too, after all my tinkering and what not I think that is the best formation.
No you did not screw up, keep those players till they are 30 years old then sell them so you get a return on them before they retire.
Yes they will continue to develop.
If you don't switch formations and you keep using 3-2W-3-1-1, these are the orders I would use.
Team Mentality: Attacking
Focus Passing: Through The Middle (Definitely use through the middle for that formation)
Pressing Style: Own Half (I never use Whole for any formation)
Tackling Style: Normal
Passing Style: Short
Marking Style: Zonal
Force Counterattacks: No (Only use if facing stronger opponent)
Play Offside Trap: No
Try that out I think you'll like it, post results.

you can have a bread and butter formation, but always be ready to switch it up if it doesn't work against a few opponents. as long as your players are fast trainers then you are set

Thanks for the answer
I dont know what this "W" means in the formation.
Yesterdays game i won with 8-1 with this formation i posted here. I got my next game 2.25 AM. It is 1.05 AM right now ^^
I use the things you said already.
Attacking style - through the middle - own half pressing - i got HARD tackling - short passing and zonal marking.
No counter attacks and no offside trap.
Yesterdays game i had 10 shots on net - 8 found the back of the net.
84% possession.
Opponent had 3 shots on net and 1 goal @ penalty kick.

What decides if a player trains quickly?
Because i've noticed that most of my players get 2 points for each training or match. But some doesnt get any at all..
And the weird thing is that those who doesnt get any at all are higher valued, but yet the same age 18 or 19.

The high they skill is the slower they train.
W means Wide.

well 7 of my players have 6 stars and the rest have 5. But all my 5 star players have 24 overall so they will be 6 stared soon.
The player who train fastest is Vincent Kompany. He is 19 years old and valued to 2,14M
The player who train most slow is Xavi and he is also 19 and valued to 1,53M - but still he did 4 goals and 2 assist in that 8-1 win.

Okay well stop purchasing token, your team is good. Train them till they are 30 then move up. If you just buy tokens and purchase players, this game is no fun. But you have a good starting club obviously (from purchasing), I'd buy new 3 players a year (all under 20) and sell 3 players (all players over 30) and have a cycle then you'll always be good and won't ever need to purchase again.

I won't spend anything more on a "free" online game like this.
But i like manager games. I have played Football manager for several years (i am 29) and i am even one of the admin @ swedish FM site.
I just wanted to buy 300 (something) tokens to get a fair start. Then i also ordered something for my i-phone and a customized t-shirt which gave 142 tokens each through the commercial.
So all in all i had 650 tokens or something like that.
Still have 321 left.
And i will definetely not pay more for a game like this.
I have already won the league with 3 rounds left. So i will advance to lvl 2 next season.
Once again, thnx for the answers. I just wanted to know if this game is advanced enough to compare strategys with FM.
Sorry for my sucky English - but it is 1.25 AM here and 1h left til my stupid game, so i can go to bed ^^
