Well that won't be his actual formation, as it only has 9 players on the pitch. I suspect it will end up looking something like this if he doesn't change it himself:

If that's the case you want to attack down both flanks, and I think the formation you showed for your team could work. But I'm not that experienced in formations, so probably better to get someone else's answer.
