Play a 3 5 3.....your ideal formation would have been 4 5 1 v formation requiring amr and aml...I suggest sell a couple cm and buy both...normal play mixed passing hard tackle and counter attack

Sorry I didn't see that screenshot - no, with narrow diamond you would want to pass down the middle. But - his formation is vulnerable on the flanks because he only has one winger on each flank. That is why 4-5-1 V style would be good, or another formation that can attack down the flanks.

Your playing a player out of position MC in AMC position! this will give you a small penalty in your possession bonus so your better off dropping him back into center midfield so you have 3 narrow MCs! 4-1-3N-2...leave the red arrows on the midfield and put reds on your striker!, Orders, attacking, Focus passing, through the middle, hard tackling, close down own half, Mixed or short passing style, zonal marking, play offsides.
