Playing vs a 4-5-1 formation

Hello all, I recently played a game against Lucian FC, who is 2 rating points below me(16.2 to 18.3) but his team produced a sterling performance without their manager present to earn a 2-2 away draw and hand him the advantage in the Chapions League Quarter finals. Now, my question concerns the result engine, am I being trolled or is my formation the wrong set up vs this team. I set up against him with a 3-2-3-2. His team and formation is set out below
