Can you put up a screenshot of your team, so that we can suggest formations that you can do? I would say that 4-4-2 is probably not best suited to that - it could work, with the right orders - on that note any formation could work, but there are likely to be formations you can do that are better suited to take that on.

I'd go to the 4-4-2 classic or 4-2-2-2 hexagon. 4 defenders to account for 3 ST, 2 MC(down) to handle your oppositions MC's, ML(AML)/MR(AMR) to exploit the flanks. Defensive/Normal, down the flanks, own half, mixed, hard tackling, counter, no offsides. Red arrows on DL/DR and ML/MR, blue arrows on both MC's

Haven't seen you on here for awhile Shark Tank, hope your seasons have been going well! Is this with 1 DMC or 1 MC? For 1 DMC use 4-5-1 v style, passing down both flanks, defensive mentality, blue arrow on your DMC. For 1 MC use 4-5-1 v style, with full pitch pressing, defensive mentality, passing down both flanks.
