Opinions on Catenaccio

I've read a thread called http://forum.topeleven.com/tutorials...tatistics.html. It's an old thread. I find the catenaccio formation really interesting. Has anyone of you ever tried it? Because i'm having a bad season.. My strikers don't score, my MCs keep getting booked, my wingers feeding meaningless passes. i always play attacking formations for my team and always put the mentality to attacking. It was quite successful for the past few seasons. But this season, i have lost more games than i did last season. I have a 4-star average quality team. But i lost to teams with lower quality than mine. That's why i decide to go defensive and slightly offensive at the same time.

So i want to know if this formation is perfect for defensive and counter-attacking football? I also want to know how to set up my team with this formation. I mean it's not very clear how the picture shows the position of the player. Is the wing back a DML or a DL? Is the second forward an AMC or an ST? Thanks.
