How to counter this formation?

I would be using this one to counter:

GK DMC AMC
DC MC ST
DL

Surely that makes little sense as with that formation you won't be able to attack his weak flanks? I'd go for something like 3N-2-2-2-1 Butterfly or 4-2-2-2 Hexagon.

narrow diamond or 4-5-1 v style, depends on what you want to attack

edited 1st post, was messed up haha, ya you got my point, guess you can defeat his attacks with 4+1(dmc) easly and the middle aswell
his DR and DL wont do much if you set you'r tactics this way.
Pressing own half, set counter attacks and offside traps(if your defence is faster than his attacks)

...and if it were 4-3-2-1 instead of 4-2-3-1? It would always be valid the 4-5-1 V-Style counter?
