    (!) searching for a strong formation - disaster (!)

    Hey guys,

i hope you will understand me, because my english ist not the best.

This season is a disaster. I am only losing... i am losing vs the last of the league.
    I played with this formation:

4-5-1 V-Style (Red arrows DL, DR, DMC)
normal, both flanks, mixed passing, counterattack, no offside trap, pressing own half, normal attacking

It was the last seasons a strong formation, but now i dont now what i can do...

    Can someone help me???

Yup, same goes to me. This season i struggling to win & sometimes lose against lower rating & star players by using same tactics like yours.
Maybe you can try to change formation. If the team using 4-4-2 classic, u can try for 3-4-3 or 4-4-1-1 and if the team using center formation like 4-1-3-2, you can use 4-4-2 classic or other formation which using MR/ML. Just only suggestions

maybe now you should consider to remove those red arrows on your DL n DR..
the red one is for attacking which make your defender goes foward..at least that is how I understand the use of red arrows so far..

tbh I find 4-5-1 V can be a bit fragile at times. When it works its great but its quite reliant on 2 players and if thet're not up to scratch its a bumpy ride.

For your safety, u should start with 4-4-2 C or narrow diamond....then u change accordingly...

Here is a picture, to show you the example of today

I played with red arrows on ML, MR, DL, DR
attacking, down the flanks, short passing, mixed, normal attacking, own half, no counter, no offside

My team is at the overview with 9,9 points (stars???) better.

4-5-1 v style, should be playing attack (if playing normal, remove all arrows) , down both flanks with red arrows on amr, aml, or focus mixed with red arrows on amr,aml and lone st, dont use arrows on Dr,DL (if you do, you should be attacking through flanks with press whole pitch and offside trap).
