    Exclamation Formation advice against 3N-3W-2-1-1

    Hi managers,

I had a league match against a 3N-3W-2-1-1 formation, which to me was overly defensive as there are easily 8 players on defense.

Search through old posts, and the suggestion was to attack through the flanks using 3-5-2V. The opponent had 58 quality while i had 66. I started with 3-5-2V and eventually shifted to 3-5-2 flat, but the match ended with a goalless draw. I had 15 total shots with 8 on target, and 6 corners as well, but just wasn't able to convert the goal. I did notice my wingers and one of my ST had only a 6 rating though if it helps explain anything.

Any managers out there with experience tackling such a formation? Thanks!

Note: As I was the stronger team, I did contemplate whether I should just fight fire with fire (3N-3W-2-1-1), but I was interested to know if other formations could work.

Thanks Brian. What about the orders and formation?
Red arrow on wingers, blue on DC & DMC?
Attacking, both flanks, mixed passing, ownhalf, no counter, no offside?

    Bro..

    Red arrows on wingers only
Normal (becoz if choose attacking it will become 3-5-2V instead n it will come back as your formation b4), both flanks, mixed passing, hard tackle, whole pitch, no counter, no offside

My 352v had motivated wingers as well and its a 3N, not 3W.
A bit worried about Whole pitch tho, perhaps start up with Ownhalf to save the player's energy?
Either way, will give the formation a try on my next match with him. Thanks Brian.
