Please tell me ANY of his weak points that you see and what improvements I could do. Ask for additional info if needed :)

ND to be honest is one of my favourite formation.especially I use a lot this season..Based on your squad..chance to win is very very slim...to be honest...even in normal condition as 2 teams equivelent dont talk about the quality so much different and your squad lack of the most 2 important positions to againts them...Quote:

To counter ND there are few:
3n-1-4-2
4-5-1V (most common)
4-1dmc-2MCs-3STs (very good for me)
3N-2DMCs-3W-2
3n-5-2V
or
3n-1-3n-2w-1
Unless U replace 1 of the best MCs with good defending skill as the DMC then U can use one of those to fight with him
The last choice for u is 4-3N-3 since it seem match your squad...dont go for 4-4-2 C or 3-5-2 flat..chance of loosing is very high

Unfortunately I can't offer specific advice here because on my main I wouldn't be without a DC/DMC - even if its only used as a DC its an option thats always there.
I've had success on teams I don't care about with 4-4-2 defensive counterattacking against ND up to 6Q above my team - not been beaten by a ND yet - but my team's MCs are balanced for for all Qs.
But if was to try it, sans DMC, 1st leg away on my main I'd go experimental with a flat 3-5-2 defensive counterattacking, blue on the central defensive MC, reds on the MR/L, whole pitch press, hard tackling and mixed passing, close my eyes, expect defeating but hoping for the best. Don't do it. Go with your gut.
Brain's basically saying to use anything but 4-4-2/3-5-2 while Buff's saying that he had success with 4-4-2 and would go with 3-5-2.Quote:

You see, I have never ever ever set even normal mentality on my team let alone defensive and never used a DMC. Our playing style includes creating many chances (scoring a weak percentage of them though): attacking+counterattacks is what somehow works for me.Quote:

Been there, seen that (had a lvl 14 team 2 years ago). I can admit some mistakes like wasted tokens on average players this season so I'll take even a negative result without disappointment.Quote:

Their manager also showed up so they had +5 possession (full stadium)
I substituted my AMC for DC and we conceded a 90' minute goal... Shouldn't have done that!

Not bad, but i think u lost cause he had superior players, doesn't matter which tactic, his player still superior see, u even have more shots on target, so i think no matter what u choose, if player are able to score with a few shots more than u, its just a quality thing, so statistics say u done better but the quality is different, maybe next match he gets a red card haha
And down both flanks??? Where are ur flank player then??
U didnt have any attacking player on the flanks...
So ur passes ended up in the middle of nowhere...

Well if ur defender red and that's all u have on the flanks, it can't work. I think down both flanks is not meant to play with nothing but wing defender, put ml mr o some aml amr for it, if u go 3w midfield and amc its way better

Yes it could do good, i think u have a stronger attack n u can use the flanks. If u need later on u can change during the game n play with 3 defender, in case u run out of time. U had good number of shots on target, if u can get a few more in u might have a chance. Its ok to go offensive anyway as u have no other option. I'm ok with the result. As you can see my entire defence (even the GK!) got rated 8 and also his GK was named MOTM.
I started with attacking mentality, long down both flanks passing, forced counterattacks, red arrows on STs, AMC ML/R and blue arrows on MCs. Later in the game as I failed to score I changed mentality to hard attacking, passing to through the middle and put red arrows on ENTIRE team. Also substituted off MC for AMC and another AMC fo ST. I don't know if he forced counterattacks but anyway that was all he could do because we were attacking hard! His 6* defence was just too strong both in air and on the ground. Thanks for advising anyway!
So its just cause he had better player, well that can happen, doesn't matter ur tactic, he still managed being igual and no saves from goalies, so nothing to dangerous of shots from both of u
And i never force counter attack with attacking mentality, as its a defensive game play option
Better be careful if u chose attacking, oponent can counter u as ur players will be in his half, but i use attacking mentality eversince i play the game haha
