Hidden Orders
Very often there has been discussions on the hidden orders. How do these orders actually strengthen a formation or what hidden orders to use to counter a formation.
Own half pressing / Whole pitch pressing
One will use own half pressing when there are more players in his half. While whole pitch pressing when he has more players in opponent's half.
Team Mentality / Force counterattacks
If one use hard attacking or attacking mentality, one should not use force counterattacks. If one uses normal, defensive or hard defending then he should be using force counterattacks.
If your opponent is home or has more stars then you. You should be using normal, defensive or hard defending mentality. While if you are home or your opponent is weaker than you, you should use attacking or hard attacking mentality.
Play offside
If one has 3 defenders, he should play offside. While if he has 4 or more defenders, no offside should be played. Defenders i am refering to DC, DR and DL.
Passing style
Use short or mixed passing if you have more midfielders compare to opponent. Likewise if your opponent has more midfielders than you, you should be using long or mixed passing.
Marking style
If your opponent has more stars than you. You should use man to man marking. If not it should be zonal marking.
Passing style
This depends on your formation. If your using 451v then it should be attacking through the flanks. If you are using narrow diamond formation then it should be through the middle.
Tackling style
Yet to find out what it truely does.
Arrows
If you are to put a blue arrow on a MC then the MC will move to a DMC position. Same thing if you put a red arrow on a MC then it will mean that the MC will be playing at an AMC position.
The above are purely my personal view, feel free to input your comments
