I think comparing general characteristics are enough: ave defensive Q vs Attacking, Phys v Phys.... Do they fit their role better or worse than yours do?

Although we don't know exactly what Handling means or Creativity or anything, we can guess well enough. But personally I'd only look at the detail to see if any 1 quality is largely different from the other to identify strengths/weaknesses - and even then it would be a cursory glance.

Imo, don't get too caught up in looking at match ups - formations are not rigid, players still wander and make mistakes. I go on 'feel' not detail.
