Best formation to destroy 4 4 2 Classic?

What is the best formation to destroy the opponents playing with 4 4 2 classic?

4-5v-1.

Red arrows on wing defence. Mentality attacking. Pressing whole pitch. Everything else mixed/normal.

No counter no offside trap

Could say also 3-5-2 with the middle MC red arrow. I personally use Counterattacks and offside trap. maybe in this case only counter.

Three at the center.. imo

I always use 4411

But there isent a perfect counter, it all depend of your stronguest players.

i use differents settings, depends of my bests players of the moment, but :

cover yours wings (may use blue arrows sometimes, or DML/R),
playing in the middle of the field (passing), red arrows on the middle or AMC.

too much players on the middle in think, never be happy with that issue.

I ever play 4-5-1V or 4-3n-2w-1 against 4-4-2 C . Normal mentaly, down wings, red arrow on wingers and striker. And with V-style also red arrow on dmc.

Ricardo didn't get you? do you mean you only play with 4 5 1v to counter 4 4 2 c?

No i play 4-3n-2w-1 sometimes too. With red arrows only on am's and striker. And if i play the V- style i put the same arrows + a red arrow on dmc.
Yesterday i played a cupmatch against stronger 4-4-2 with the V and won 0:2 away. The 1st leg at home i played the same and won 2:0 too.
