The best formation vs 4-5-1V?

Hey, tactic masters. I have an opponent in CL who plays 4-5-1V. I already won vs him 1-0 away and used 4-2-2-2 hex but I don't feel like using it again. The http://forum.topeleven.com/formation...ation-use.html suggests 3N-2W-3N-2 (I don't have players for this) and 4-3N-3 which I've never played. So, does 4-3-3 really works very well vs 4-5-1V or which other formation would you suggest? (orders and arrows also please)

Depends on the orders, but I actually use 4-5-1 v style to counter 4-3n-3, so it really is important to use the appropriate orders. If you want to switch it up you could use 4-3n-2w-1, but I think hex is still a good option

So you say hex or 4-3-2-1>4-3-3? Even if one of the players will be out of position: I don't have AML so could play AMC or ML there but not the first time, he's used to it

And someone please advise orders for 4-3N-3, 4-2-2-2 hex or 4-3N-2W-1!

if you can play a friendly with different players at the AML position to see how they do compared to each other. That's how I found out that my DC-DMC gets good ratings at DR

I have already played a bunch of official matches with my AMC as AML He did fine.

If you have the players for it, Butterfly is very effective against The V. Your Wingbacks shut down their wings and you play down the flanks to your unguarded wingers.

I played about 6 seasons with the V and Butterfly was my nemesis, and whenever I faced the V I switched to Butterfly with great success.

Can't promise it'll work for you of course, but it worked very well for me.

Lost 1-3... By my own mistake. Started with hex, scored, everything was going well. Then my MC got injured and I realized that I had left my both sub MCs in reserves... Switched to 4-3W-1-2 then opponent equalized from long range (1-1 was still ok for me) but ofcourse he just had to score a troll corner on 83rd minute...

Oh thats sad, i have lucky that i have i switch this season from 4-1-2-1-2 to that tactic with one sub 😊👍. Good luck with youre club
