Are you sure that manager plays this formation, check his championship play record and formations use, if this is his regular formation, play it like you would counter a Narrow Diamond or a 3-1-2N-1-3.
In football it is better to be Lucky than Good.
It really is his formation. And please how would you counter 3-1-2n-1-3?
