its a flexible formation so you can use many different tactics and achieve great success. You just need to experiment and find what works for you

As Rjslow said their is no one way to play V-style, you adjust it according to your team and against different opponents.
I like to red my AMs and blue my DMC; Att, down, hard, mix, zone with counter, but that is just me, and adjusted to my players and the team as a whole. Good luck.
