Best Defensive Style(Formation) ?

Hello again , i looking for the best defensive formation

I have players who has
1. DL and DC
2. DC and DR
3. Just DC
4. Just DL
5. And just DC

Need advice for formation . Do 3 DC or one DC one DL and one DR?
I playing 3-5-2 style

Depends on the opposition. If they play 2-3 ST or 1-2 ST and 2 AML/AMR I would go wide (or use 4 Defenders). If they play something like a narrow diamond or 4-1-3N-2, then 3 DC could do the job. Personally I don't like to use only 3 defenders, if I use 3 DC I play with DML/DMR as well...

Play your opponent do not let him play you, if the opponent attacks down the middle then 3 DCs Narrow, if they are a winging team down the flanks with AML/R or ML/R then 3 DL/DC/DR wide.

Depends upon what formation you are facing. If I need to go defensive I try 5 3w 2, 3 5 2 and 442

352 is a good formation if you play with right tactics.

For ex (for attacking)If you put red arrows on ML, MR & Blue arrow on middle MC its virtually a 352v style and (For defensive)If you put blue arrows on ML & MR it acts like 3 2 3 2.

If your opponent is playing with a formation like butterfly or hexagon then 5 3w 2 does a great job for me.

A friendly result with a very strong opponent.
