    Why not?

I had already made that, even MCs with good defensive skills, some Will play good others not so good.

Yes u can, defensive minded player should be able to play any defensive position, i tried once after a red card a dmc as mc, that sucks, cause no attacking skills, but a good dc can play a decent dmc as well as a dl can be dml and dr dmr..
Player who put red arrows on their dc don't do anything different, it means the player with red arrow goes one position up (depends red o blue, then position down)
Two seasons ago i had a guy in my league who played the entire season without goalkeeper, he used a dc, n he finished 5th, everything is possible, its 11 vs 11,u can still win games even if u have a player outside position, if the rest scores goles, it doesn't matter at all, so its nonsense to say u can't...
Even if ur dc fails ur oponent still deals with all ur defender, so why should he score then....?
If u put ur dc as dmc just give him blue arrows, so whenever the oponent attacks he will let himself falling back to his dc position, n its like u have another dc while defending, so for him will be a natural position if u in defence.
