formations and counter formationes

i believe wining and losing is random thing or depend into many things but maybe with better ball position you get better result i see many suggest 4-5-1V against all formation not sure if its good or bad but maybe someone with more knowledge can set table formation that give better ball position
now to my silly question i am playing against 4-1-3w-2

my team (forget about current formation was playing as counter in CL)

need all the win to secure good position in league now shoot your arrows and thoughts

well played 4-5-1V defensive down both flanks own half normal tackle mixed pass zonal marking and force counter red arrow in DL-DR-AMR-AML kept possession at 75% won 7-0 sure am 4 points higher in quality which helped

OK maybe help against 1st in league he have never beaten yet 7 wining his Q 19.2 mine is 17.2 both 4-4-2 and 4-1-2-1-2ND both keep failing against him he plays 4-3(2MC+MR)1(AMC)-2 or 4-3(2MC+MR)1(AML)-2
