    Its very defencive I know so you must make the choice of either going for the win all out or be conservative and stay defencive and try to nick it on the counter!, I have played this formation a few times and had actually done really well using 4-4-2 or staring 4-1-3-2 and switching to 4-3-3 at HT if im not making any in roads. You have to take into account both teams strengths, if he is a stronger opponent I would play safe to start with.

    3N-5-2 flat.. attacking/down both flanks/whole pitch/long passing/hard tackle/no offside/no counter

    What did you use 4-1-4-1?, I would go 3 up front now and go for it 4-3-3 or 3-4-3.
