This season i have beat better teams playing 4-4-2 with 3-5-2 and 4-5-1 midfield i have V formation, DMC, MC, MC AML, AMR. red arrows on my flanks. attacking on both flanks, long ball and hard tackle.
I played 3 times already, all against better teams and i have 10-0 in goals.
attacking mentality too and offside trap?
That's a strange setup for a 4-4-2. If you plan on playing offensively, I'd run a modified 3-1-4-2 against it, setting up like this. DC-DC-DR(up), DMC (up), ML(up)-MC(down)-MC(down)-MR(up), ST-ST.
Your opponent should be using mixed or through the middle passing, so making sure the middle is defended is key, with the DR being a safety net in case your opponent's ML has a red arrow.
If playing defensively, either a 4-5-1 V, 4-5-1 flat or 4-3N-2W-1, red arrows on the flanks and DMC, blue arrows in the middle.
Good luck
I always win 4-4-2: (by 4-1-4-1)
ST ( up)
ML (up)- MC-MC - MR (up)
DMC (up)
DL - DC ( down) -DC ( down) - DR
