4-5-1 V style is not going so well

Just like the real Borussia Dortmund, my team has been terrible in the league, but has been fantastic in the Champions League. As many of you know i use 4-5-1 v style, but in the league this season my 4-5-1 v style has been pathetic. Has anyone else been running into problems with 4-5-1 v style?

Yes me also a little bit, i changed THE dmc for a extra mc so now i play 432w1 And didnt conceded Any goal whole conpetition

u need to use normal,both wings,own half,normal,mixed or long (depends if your mc's have good passing skills, if yes then mixed), zonal. st and aml/r red arrows dc's and 1 mc blue arrow (alternatively 1 dl/r blue arrow). you can also play it defensive and man-on-man tackling but i never tested this in defensive myself. but normally it should work at least in real soccer.

Perhaps its just me, I start to notice that the extra MC (3 MCs) can take the opponents AMC as good as a DMC, with Zonal marking of course.

Hi, I'm paying same formation 4,3,2w,1 I was playing 4,1,2,2,1 but seem rubbish suddenly problem is my dcm is really good young player. What positions do you have going forward? Thanks

RJSlow yes i do have same problem i lost 5 times this season (and im out of cup), i used to play 451v for 6 seasons and i think i lost my playing way of controle but seems that 451v are not good at all this season ( im first through 6 seasons) and be4 a while i lost with 5-0 it never happened to me at all ... i do notice that using AMC is more powerfull than flank this season so im gonna either change to 4411 or 4312 as i do notice those doing better this season .. wish u the best always . Problem i dont have a good AMC.

it is well against ppl do mot control their team well , but when u do face a good controlled game u r gonna suffer as i do ( i was wondering why)
