He had more than 60% possession... So I ask - IS THIS LEGAL?

There are no illegal formations anymore, aparentlly... Yep it's legal.

anyhow I would still try to make a symmetrical formation, works better ;P
symmetrical = If you can draw a vertical line down the center of the pitch you should get two similar halves.
if u use DR, then go with a DL on. same goes for ML/MR DML/DMR AML/AMR.
Guess it's still afecting the possession but not as much as it used to do in the past.
