4-1-4-1 no longer counters 4-3N-3?

I have seen this in the CL stage, too. But it surprised me quite a lot because 4-4-2 is usually weak in the center.
Maybe Nordeus modified their match engine to keep things interesting.

I experienced some formation in the last days vs. 4-3N-3. Against troll Mourinho I made bad experiences with 3N-DMC-4-AMC-ST (0-5 loss despite same quality as Mourinho) and lost very unlucky with 4-4-2 with a team that was inferior to Mourinhos squad. In the competitive cup match 3DC-3MC-AML-AMR-2ST brough a comfortable win. But I think it really depends heavily on orders, quality and form of the opponent. I will try to collect more experiences in 4-1-4-1 alternatives to counter 4-3N-3 in the future.
