A lot of people talk about hard tackling but I always think that unless the team is far, far, far better than you, its better to not take the risk. Keeping possession always seems to work better for me. He was watching the game whilst I wasn't as well, I imagined him and all his tokens weeping haha.

just 4-4-2 classic will do..
Focus on their flanks and you will win
Copy his formation and just hope for the best XD. Try to have your best players though. OR focus on defense if you believe that your squad would not stand up a chance against it. I always play defensively just in case. If you can survive an attack, you can definitely win the counter attack.
