    Wink How to beat 4-3N-2W-1?

So today I played against a guy who used 4-3N-2W-1 in CL. I used 3N-5-2 A-style (3N-2W-2N-1-2) at the first half and lost 1-2. Switched to 3N-1-4-1-1 at second half like in some threads and lost 2-4. These were my orders: attacking/through the middle/own half/normal/mixed/man-to-man/no counter/offside trap: yes. Did I used the wrong orders/formations? If so, please suggest me a better formation. I need to score at least 3 goals to advance to the CL semi-finals. Thank you!
P/S: his team quality is 49.7, mine 50.6, and we're both in level 7.

    3W-1-4-2. Attacking/down the flanks/whole pitch/hard tackling/short passing/zonal/no counter/offsides.

Red arrows on DMC, DL/DR and ML/MR. blue arrows on both MC's.

3W-5-2 v-style and 3W-5-2 flat should work too.

Since he only has 1 ST, one DC is all that's needed. I always play 3 defenders against 1 ST and since your opponent is using wingers the DL/DR should help protect the flanks, while providing help defense against the lone striker. 3 players defending the mid-field is recommended in case of a mixed passing approach.

The DMC will help more in Defense, he will stop Counter attacks from Opponent, if u lose the ball. I think, the Opponent will Play mixed Focus, through the middle it s difficult for him, because there is your DMC. When u Play 3w-1-4-2, there is a two on 1 Situation on the flanks, where u can get the ball easier.
