Whatever he fields, you should use 4141 if you can. Try meanwhile to sign MC and DMC since your 5* is injured.
Set tactics for defensive mentality hard tackling long passing. Don't force counter attacks. I'm lazy to explain why, but it isn't that useful as some think...

I use strategy from picture total defending with coutner attack, enemy use 4/1/4/1 and in last 15 minutes switch it to 4/4/2.
On 90 min my team counter attack and score and I won cup with 1 level team against 2 level player
