My opinion would be to counter this with a

Depending on what level your players perform better I would choose between defensive and counter-attacking or start with hard attacking if your team seems stronger and change it to counter-attacking at half-time if you are 1 or more goals ahead.

Every manager has his own way of facing every game though...
