Irregular 4-1-3-1-1

Hello Misters,
today will face the formation below on first leg of CL:

He's stronger than me and my usual formation is 4-3-3.
Do you think it will be effective against him?

Sure he is stronger on midfield, probably he will push on his right side (the MR's "wide" from the others). I think that he will try to play defensively exploiting any counterattacks (because of his lonely St's supported by the AMC's).

...What do you think about?

I see the game has already been played. Just out of curiousity, what formation did you use? How did the game go?

...you're right, played and lost!!!

Last minute, before starting match, i've changed from 4-3-3 to 3-5-2V but..it didn't run!
I played defensive due to his higher quality, plus i haven't any AML/R so i moved to the sides my faster MC's...
Last 10 minutes i turned to 4-3-3 and i noticed i gained more possesion...
Don't know, i think i'll start the retour match this way...

No, i don't...but suddenly i use to play my fastest MC's on the wings and it already run.
For your information, i played second leg of CL and won 2-0 with 4-3-3...unfortunately i lost 4-2 first, at home...
