Try 3n-1-4-2, attack through the flanks, no counter, no offside

Will try that, was thinking of 4-1-2-1-2 narrow but my players are not used to play narrow formations so don't think would work

4-5-1 V-style hasn't failed me yet against this formation. defensive(hard defensive)/down the flanks/own half/hard/mixed(long)/zonal - force counterattacks/no offsides. Red arrows on the flanks, blue arrows on both MC's.

4-1-3n-2 might work too. Hard defending/through the middle/own half/hard/long/zonal - force counterattacks/no offsides. red arrows on DL/DR and 2 MC's. blue arrow on one MC. You'll have 4 defenders to cover 3 strikers and a numbers advantage in the midfield.

4 defenders against 3 strikers is important since it allows you to have a sweeper for help defense when a defender gets beat. The theory is since he's shown his hand that he's attacking, tie up that attack in the middle and counter-attack.

Thank you I think I go with 4-5-1 v as my team play wide already
