Player bored after 3 great season?

Hi all, Do the players get bored to play on the same team after few seasons, I St he he's been great for the last 3 seasons but now he's not performing he is only 25 5* have about 100 goals in 100 games just in the league but now stopped score, already bench him but didn't work.

Ya only if he's 26 or 26+
Happened with me this season I have a scout (6stars) player he scored 49 goals in last season in36 matches (age25)
But this season he's 5star rated (age26) and played 20+ matches and scored just 7 goals and gave 8 assists. But still I'm not sure as I don't keep player more than 2 seasons.

I see, I don't keep players long as well but when u have a match winner u have to keep as long as he plays well, I have another team and there's a player fantastic he is aml/AMC and he's is on his third season already scored 35 goals he's ratings its 8.4 on the league,
