4-4-2 is probably the strongest formation in the game, and difficult to beat even with superior players - the Counterformations table suggests 3N-4-1-2, 4-5-1 V-Style, 3N-2-2-2-1 Butterfly. Personally, I've had more success with the first two than the Butterfly in this situation.
Of course, you have no idea what his tactics setup is so you can't counter those, you will have to use the tactics that your players have been most comfortable with.
See which formation fits your players best, set your tactics and hope the random number generator that Nordeus calls the game player looks on your side's efforts favourably... If you're able to watch the match then you'll be able to see what is going on and make changes appropriately.
Any formation or tactics advice given is based purely on experience with my teams...
Thanks man, I will try 3N-4-1-2 and see..... hopefully win
