i thought this was illegal not sure, to have 3 wings on one side. but ball possession was 65-35% for me. i lost the match 1-3. so i need some help to get the impossible done. i was thinking about 4-5-1 flat, or go all attacking with 3n-4-3 or 4-3n-3 to exploit his lone dc. what you guys think?

There aren't any illegal formations anymore.

To beat this, i'd use a central attacking formation such as the Narrow Diamond. 2 MC > 1 MC, no one marking your AMC and 2 ST > 1 DC. If your 3rd ST is better than your AMC, then a 4-1-2n-3 should work too!!!

His DML/DMR won't have much to do, if you don't attack the flanks and they're to far back in the defensive end to pose much risk offensively.

9 months? couple days ago in old competition was guy always having 20% ball possession.. that sounds kinda illegal haha

Not an illegal formation, but players playing out of position, eg Goalkeeper at centre forward...
