How would you counter this aggressive formation? I'm thinking 4-1-4-1 with DC's/MC's blue arrows and D and M wingers red arrows attacking the width or 4-5-1v like this (same idea as the 4-1-4-1):

But I'm second guessing myself. We're about even at top of the table and in skill. I can play all formations equally; my depth doesn't limit me. Thank you!

FYI I went with the 4-5-1v on the road and lost 2-1. My two MC's got rocked and had a rating of 5 each, which neither of them ever have - both average very high 7's. My guess would be his two AMC's had blue arrows which gave him effectively 3 MC's against my two. Otherwise, I can't think why they would have gotten dominated so badly.

Change to 4-1-4-1, replace 2 MC by another good form MC(or buy more). Just play attacking/ Whole pitch/ Normal Tackling/ No counter/ Mix passing. No long passing/ No counter, ok? With stronger midfielder, you'll have a good result.
