4-1-2-3 need help

Hello everyone,

Tomorrow I have CL match against team with 4-1-2-3 formation.


Last time I tried to play with 3-2-3-2 and I lost 0-1.


So maybe you have any ideas how to counter this? That would be very helpful.

I think you can try 4-5-1 V-Style or 4-2-1-3
Orders for 4-2-1-3 : Team Mentality: Attacking
Focus Passing: Mixed
Pressing Style: Whole Pitch
Tackling Style: Normal
Passing Style: Mixed
Marking Style: Zonal
No Counter Attacks
No Offside Traps
orders for 4-5-1 V-Style : Normal/ attacking, both flanks, own half, mixed, hard, zonal. <= force Counter is possible
a) red arrows on DL, DR (sometimes + DMC)
b) red arrows on AML, AMR (sometimes + ST)
c) no arrows mixed or Long and force counter
Normal/ attacking, both flanks, full pitch, short/ sometimes mixed, hard, zonal.
a) red arrows on DL, DR (sometimes + DMC) <= offside trap is sometimes possible and if u Need, you can set blue arrow on DMC
b) red arrows on AML, AMR (sometimes + ST)

4-4-2 classic has always worked for me. Red arrows on the flanks, blues on the MC's. Normal/down the flanks/own half/hard/mixed/zonal - no counter/no offsides.

4-4-2, 4-5-1 V, 4-1-3-2, or 4-3-1-2
Look at their team, what they have at role. If their have MC DMC with five star, so you need AMC to attack the DMC DC or 4-5-1 V to put all around the player to attack.

If you don't have MR, ML, AML and AMR so go with the 4-3-1-2 or 4-1-3-2

I think it depends on your Team. How strong is it and what positions you can Play. you have 2 strong ST? let them Play! You have strong wingers? let them Play! Take that Formation which include your best Players!
