I cannot suggest any counter formation for that.
Play your system, a classic one like a 4-4-2 and hope that you 'll be in a good day and your players gonna win their battles.

A tip (but not sure how useful it could be), check previous games of your oppo and see the formations of his opponents when he had bad results

Works like magic. Sometimes I look at their rating, spot the stupid one and concentrate my passes there.

I'd go with a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond. Red arrows on the DMC and AMC

Hard attacking
Passing through the middle
Short passes
Hard Tackling
Off side trap on
counter attacks on
