I cannot suggest any counter formation for that.
Play your system, a classic one like a 4-4-2 and hope that you 'll be in a good day and your players gonna win their battles.

A tip (but not sure how useful it could be), check previous games of your oppo and see the formations of his opponents when he had bad results

Works like magic. Sometimes I look at their rating, spot the stupid one and concentrate my passes there.

Could you also give me an advise how to beat a 5-1-2-1-1 narrow diamond formation. I lost my cup game at home with 0:3
