4-3-1-2 Top League Rival !

Dears,

Tonight i have a game against my only big rival in my league (level 2), which means the winner will take serious advantage for the title (5 games 5 victories for each other he s leading by goal difference +2).

He is always playing 4-3N-1-2 here are his team detail :

DR 23
MC 25
MC 21
MC 19
AMC 28
ST 25
ST 26

I most of time play 4-5-1 V style (Sometimes 3N-2W-2N-2W-1) here is my top team :

ST 24

PS : I dont have AMC
This is an outside game ... Any advice about tactics and instructions to give to the players ?

And Yes i already look for threads about how to counter it but since it is a really important game to me I hope you can understand why i repost one with more details to get some specialist advices !

Since I lost my best player I guess I ll go with a 4-5-1V defensive long passes and counter attack ON is it good ? I'll give it a try but I'm not used to defend .. I still have a 23 DC just in case .. But no idea how to play woth the arrows in this situation

as I told you I use 3-5-2 V as a variant of 4-5-1 V, if oppo doesn't have AMR-MR and AML-L so in your case I see he hasn't.
His team seems to be in a good form so I would starting with defense/counter/flanks long or mixed pass (blue arrows on defenders, red arrows on wingers).
Then you must watch the game. If you have much more ball possession maybe change to normal or attack if not scoring.
If oppo has many shots and his STs look dangerous, stay in defense.
If you get a couple of goals, maybe put a 3rd MC (if you have) instead of your 2nd ST, to secure the victory.
If oppo open the score too early, don't be in a rush to go attack, because if he 's playing defense/counters maybe can crash you.

I used 3-5-2v style but finally lost 2-1 .. He got a penalty after third minutes .. I had 2 times more opportunities than him but he was too efficient in front of goal. Winning the league will be really tough now but we ll see !
