4-4-2
Normal, mixed, own half, long, hard, zonal, force counter
Red arrow : DL , DR , ML , MR , ST , ST
4-1-4-1 never lets me down vs 4-4-1-1... If his AMC is in form, slap a blue arrow on you DMC, if not no arrow. Red arrows on ML/R..

1 Cup Title
I'm going to play vs that formation in 3 hours, so i planned this:
It's second leg of Cup, first i lost by 2-0 playing 3N-1-4-2, i have no wings and use motivated Mc's as it. Also is away match. I have to score, not get scored!
Normally i play 4-3-3 but i always had troubles with 4-4-1-1, last match i get scored by his MR so i think he's setted up DBF.
What about, thus, a 4-1-4-1 "in the middle", Attacking mind with short pass and higher pressing m-o-m?
I could also opt for a 4-5-1V....

i would try 4-5-1V. higher pressing only if you are stronger! zonal! never man on man!
i ve beaten a 4-4-1-1 with normal, flanks, hard pressing, short, hard, zonal, offside trap. red on dl and dr. sometimes blue on dmc, but start without any arrow on dmc.
but maybe These orders are not good for you.
