Matteo you can use Italian forum (the link: Top Eleven Forum Italiano )
Well I use 4-1-4-1 for the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond. But if you want to use the 4-5-1 v style you can do it.
I suggest you to play on both the flangs, with advanced AML and AMR.

I've had good results with 4-1-4-1 (Almost the same as 4-5-1) playing with red arrows on wingers and blue arrows on DC + DMC. Instructions: Normal, Through Both Flanks, Mixed, Counter On, Own Half, Normal, Zone, Offside Off. If you're playing against a weaker formation you may use no arrows on DMC and DC and switch to Attacking, Counter Off.

4-5-1v or 4-1-4-1 are similar to counter the narrow diamond. Attack through flanks, all other set to normal, mixed, no arrows, that's enough. Another tactics is forced counter-attack with long passing.

Remember not to swich to another formation if ur opponent scored first. Don't be panic. U must trust in your choice. I've ever won 5-2 with 4-5-1v after my opponent (narrow diamond, same quality) lead 2-0 in first half (I scored a series of 5 goals in 2nd half with no change in formation)
