I'd say 4-5-1 V. But since you don't have wingers (AML/AMR), you could try 4-1-4-1 with red arrows on ML and MR.

Orders for both formations are similar.

    I used 4-5-1 V and drew 1-1.
(my player's moral and rest wasn't excellent so I think I'll be happy)

Anyway tommorow I have a match against this team with this formation which is confusing me:

I was thinking about 4-3-2-1, what do you think?

Not a formation I'm overly familiar with. It's very defensive, so he'll probably play it like that. Take into account he may use counter attack (maybe put blue arrows on your two DC's opposite his strikers). He might have red arrows on his DML/DMR to join in the attack.

Personally I don't often use attacking midfielders when my opponent has 2 DMC's or 3 DM(L/R/C)'s. I feel they get smothered. I also tend to use long passing to outplay his DM's, but I'm not sure if it works like I think it does.

Here are some options against a similar formation:
    3DC-3WDM-3MC-1 >.< >.< 3N-5-2F, 3N-1-4-2, 3N-1-5-1*

I'd go with 3N-1(DMC)-4-2, but if you only have one striker, you could try the last one (see what fits your team).

I don't use a lot of arrows, mostly because I don't really understand their effect.

Normally I'd only put reds on ML/R. In this case I'd also put blues on my two outer DC's to prevent counter attacks.

Hi. I'm currently in the process of experiementing with arrows.
With red arrows I'm having more success with counter attacks on.

I'm playing 4-5-1v with red arrows on DR, MC on the right and just AML. No blue arrows as the only thing I can see is its more of a stay back effect and I don't really want that on a counter. Anyway, all players with red arrows scored today, my DR scoring 2 so there must be some effect in going forward.

In the past, i played narrow diamond vs narrow diamond so I used man to man and blue arrows on DC, DC and DMC and it worked, 3-0 victory.
