Looking everywhere: cant find proper counter for 5-1-3N-1

i played this formation 5-1-3N-1 last season in championship league agains couple of stronger opponents and always won : )
one of them had similar as you want just 4Defender and i won 0-4 : )

Thats the kicker though. similar but not quite. I think that the extra attacker against your team might have made a difference.

The opponent is a level higher than me, better team value($2M) but my team is better quality (21.8>20.4).

I think I have a shot at this with the 3N-0-3N-2W-1 formation.

Also this is a home game, so I might want to play more defensive and keep him from getting the away goal.

Is it a bad thing to mirror the opponents formation? I heard one of the vets saying that the game engine doesnt like this and there is a small penalty? I dont see why....

hmmm, success it seems. won 3-1 with my formation. someone should test this further and put it up on the counter formation page
