His formation is illegal due to too few midfielders. It's the only formation with less than 3 midfielders.

So what will I do about that?
I would say treat it like a 4-3N-3, but attack him harder because the formation is more defensive, and also illegal, so you will dominate. July lists 4-1-4-1 as the counter to 4-3N-3, you could tweak it a bit, maybe 4-1-3W-2 or 3N-1-4-2?
July's thread says 4-5-1 V, or 4-3N-2W-1.

Play an offensive system with 4-4-2 or 3-4-3 to use your possession advantage. Use short passing and at 4-4-2 normal at 3-4-3 attacking mentality. I expect the opponent to play long balls, so if you choose 3-4-3 you should activate your offside trap and pressure whole pitch.
