Is there any serious chance to win against him?

I'm now at Season 3. From the beginning of Season 2, my playstyle is 4-5-1 V-Style, sometimes I switch to 4-1-2-1-2 ND. I won the triple last season (L5 Cup ), now I think I'm Cup L6 oder L7 (L7 Manager was the highest in there). I also hold the most of my whole team, I'm not a tokenbuyer at all.
Normally I set the tactics right, got no goal at the cup, but... this time... oO

First leg was 0-2 for him, just used my normal V-Style
Tactics:
defense-mixed-mixed-on
low-normal-man to man-off
no arrows

After 33' it was 0-2, at 50' I haven't any shot on his goal, so I change to 4-1-2-1-2 ND, tactic:
attacking-through the middle-short-off
high-normal-zonal-on
DMC and AMC red arrow

At the end of the game I just had 5 shots on his goal.

He normally plays 3w-1-3w-1-2, but before the game he switched to 3w-1-3w-2-1 and used it the whole match.

At the counter-thread it also says V-Style should be the counter, but for me it doesn't work.

So... any ideas? Is it possible to win - even high enough to stay in?
