Lightbulb Need Help from the Masters !!!

    Dear all the masters,
I dont understand why I lost heavily 4-1 against a level 3 team (19.4) which is slightly weaker than me (21.5). His team is an abandoned team since he doesn't change any thing and did not attend the match.

Here is the 2 teams formations and team:

    My tactic is:
    Mental: Normal
    Focus: Down Both Flank
    Pressing: Own half
    Tackling: Normal
    Passing: Mix
    Marking: Zonal

I know that I did something wrong that is why I need your advice the Masters. Tomorrow I am playing against him at Home.

PLEASE ADVICE WHAT FORMATION AND TACTIC I SHOULD USE TO WIN HIM, THE CUP REALLY MEAN A LOT TO ME !!!

Thank you so much for your help.

I thinks it's possible you lose, because your enemy use flank attack. My opinion you must use 4 Defender. I will used 4-1-4-1 to counter him. But i'm not guaranted, it's just my opinion. ^_^

I think your formation is fine but you have to either attack, or defend with long passes counter attacks. You could try hard tackling too. You're definitely attacking down the flanks, so I'd pick your right flank to attack his weaker DL, red arrows on your DMR.

What's up with Tyne? Did he have orange morale before the match? And how was everyone's condition?

    Thank for your advice Potemy.
If I use the same formation and change to hard attacking and focus on the right flank could I possible win him 3-0 or more? hichic... I am really worry !!! Is there any much better formation I can fight against him so that I can win by big Margin?

Before the game Tyne and any other players are Super in their Moral and Super in their condition. However yesterday a "crazy" friend of my play friendly game b4 the game 1 hour thus some of them lost their moral and tired It might be the reason I lost.

Thank in advance Poteme and anyone who give me advice.

Definitely the friendly affected it. Were you not around during the match?

In my experience, you'll score more if you're not going all out. Attacking or defensive counter attacking will do.

The match happend 3am thus I could not stay up to watch it, unfortunately.
What do you mean I will score more if I dont go all out?
Since I am 3-0 away, I believe I should attack more instead of defense right? Thanks

Well, we all know now that this season, a 2★ DC can stop 6/7★ players

This has always been the case. Even challenging L1 managers in friendlies, you won't get through on every attack.

To go all out means to put everything into attack. I find that if you're looking for goals so badly, they won't come, and you'll score more if you're just playing like you normally do. Common sense says you should attack rather than defend, but you can get a lot of goals playing counter attacking football as well.

3 5 2 v style or the old one 4-4-2 and red arrow on flanks ... hard attack in first half time and defensive on second half , attack on flanks press on own half mixed pass counter attack no offside trap !
