Hello all
So having a match tomorrow and he plays with this tactic
3W - 2MC - 3W(AMR/C/L)-2ST
he has a better quality players than mine
Iam thinking to counter him with long balls through flanks or even ND since he attacks with 5
What do you think his weakness point in this formation?
Defenders are DR/C/L?
Probably playing a low press and generally defensively, so you can attack his 3 defenders on the counter attack.

I have tried the formation above in Away match and lost 2-0
in second leg i have changed tactics and played with my own formation and won 4-1 and qualified for next round

Well, I see this topic is old. OP, just out of curiousity, by your own formation do you mean you played the 4-1-2-1-2 ND to win 4-1.
I would assume the ND is a counter to the 3w-2(MC-MC)-3w-2, since it a strong central attacking formation against a formation which has little defense in the middle, but this is nordeus so who knows how the game engine is programmed.
Not a ND
I used 4-3N-2W-1 first half and could only draw 1-1
then used 4-2-2-2 HEX and could score another made it 2-1
I still needed one more goal to qualify so changed mentality to normal with high pressure and changed to 4-1Mc-2W-3ST and could score 2 goals
it was interesting match and I guess the other manager didn't expect it to go this way
